Please read these terms carefully before using our services

Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Star Electronics website and our TV mounting, repair, or installation services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

Legal Agreement: These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer") and Star Electronics ("Company", "We", "Us").

Service Terms

Service Estimates & Diagnosis

All service estimates are provided after initial consultation. Star Electronics reserves the right to adjust the final service cost if additional issues are discovered or if the wall condition requires extra work. You will be notified and must provide consent before any additional work is performed.

No-Fix, No-Fee Policy (Repairs Only)

If we are unable to repair your TV, you will only be charged for diagnostic fees (if applicable). Diagnostic fees will be disclosed before any work begins. This does not apply to mounting services where the service is completed successfully.

TV Mounting Service

Star Electronics provides professional TV wall mounting services. However, we are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing wall conditions including hidden wiring, plumbing, or structural weaknesses
  • Paint, wallpaper, or wall finish damage during the mounting process
  • TV damage caused by customer-provided brackets or mounting hardware
  • Issues arising from improper wall type assessment provided by customer
Wall Assessment: Our technicians will assess the wall before mounting. If the wall is deemed unsuitable, we reserve the right to decline the service. In such cases, no cancellation fee applies.

Warranty Terms

Star Electronics offers a limited warranty on all services:

  • Duration: 6 months (180 days) from the date of service completion
  • Coverage (Mounting): Warranty covers the mounting hardware and workmanship. If the TV becomes loose or falls due to faulty installation, we will re-mount at no cost.
  • Coverage (Repair): Warranty covers the specific repair performed and replacement parts installed.
  • Exclusions: Warranty does not cover physical damage, accidental drops, power surges, natural disasters, or damage caused by unauthorized modifications or third-party services.
  • Void Conditions: Warranty is void if the TV is re-mounted, re-positioned, adjusted, opened, or repaired by any third party after our service.

For warranty claims, you must present the original service receipt. Warranty service includes free re-service of the same issue. Refunds are not provided under warranty unless the service cannot be completed after reasonable attempts.

Appointment & Cancellation Policy

Appointment Scheduling

We provide a 2-hour time window for technician arrival. You will receive confirmation and reminder notifications via SMS or call. Please ensure someone is present at the service address during the scheduled time.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • Free Cancellation: Cancel at least 2 hours before the scheduled appointment at no charge.
  • Late Cancellation: Cancellations within 2 hours of appointment may incur a ₹299 cancellation fee.
  • No-Show: If our technician arrives and no one is present, a ₹399 no-show fee may apply.
  • Rescheduling: Free rescheduling is available up to 1 hour before the appointment.

Payment Terms

All service charges must be paid in full at the time of service completion. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, and online bank transfers. Star Electronics reserves the right to hold completed work until full payment is received.

Price Estimates: Any quoted price is an estimate. Final charges may vary based on actual work required. You will be informed of any price changes before proceeding. For mounting services, additional charges apply for:

  • Brick/concrete walls requiring specialized drilling (no extra charge for standard walls)
  • TVs over 75 inches (additional ₹500)
  • In-wall cable concealment (standard cable management included)
  • High/vaulted ceilings or difficult access locations

Refund & Cancellation for Completed Services

Refunds

Refunds are issued only in the following circumstances:

  • We are unable to complete the service after reasonable attempts (diagnostic fee may apply for repairs)
  • The service fails within the warranty period and cannot be successfully re-serviced

Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method. No refunds for change of mind after service completion.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your TV, wall type, and service location
  • Clear the area around the TV mounting location before technician arrival
  • Secure pets and supervise children during the service visit
  • Inform us of any structural issues, hidden wiring, or previous damage to the wall
  • For TV repairs, ensure the TV is accessible and no additional obstacles are present
  • Backup any smart TV data or settings before repair service (we are not responsible for data loss)

Liability for Pre-Existing TV Damage

Before starting any service, our technician will inspect your TV for existing damage (scratches, cracks, dead pixels, etc.) and document it. You will be asked to acknowledge pre-existing conditions. Star Electronics is not liable for:

  • Pre-existing screen damage, dead pixels, or cosmetic imperfections
  • Manufacturing defects discovered during or after service
  • Issues caused by customer mishandling or prior third-party repairs
  • TV damage from power surges or electrical issues not related to our service

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Star Electronics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to our services, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of entertainment, business interruption, or inconvenience
  • Damage to walls, flooring, furniture, or property beyond the scope of our service
  • Loss of data, settings, or digital content on smart TVs
  • Emotional distress or loss of enjoyment
Maximum Liability: Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiations. If resolution cannot be reached within 15 days, the matter shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with Indian arbitration laws.

Photography & Marketing Consent

Star Electronics may take photographs of completed work (before/after) for quality assurance and marketing purposes. Customer faces or identifiable private information will be blurred or excluded. You may opt out of photography by notifying our technician before service begins.

Modifications to Terms

Star Electronics reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting to this website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
